Pray, Pray, Pray

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

There is not a day that goes by in my life where I have not prayed to God in one way or another. Prayer is simply having a conversation with God. Talking to God is a supernatural experience that can become a natural part of our everyday living. Our Heavenly Father is so interested in every little detail of our lives that the bible is full of verses reminding us of the importance of prayer.
1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Jesus is our greatest role model, He prayed to God for healing, delivering and blessing people. He prayed when provision, protection or direction was needed. He also prayed when He just needed replenishing and companionship when He was tired. Jesus withdrew from people and spent time in prayer communing with the Heavenly Father, resting in His presence, being encouraged and strengthened for whatever challenges were in the future.

Question for today:
-Do I model a Jesus’ prayer life?
